Nope. At least my avatar didn't. I don't have a version of Firefox here at home and was relying upon IE for my comparison (I did notice the avatar not showing up at my dad's office on his Firefox, but it worked fine on Netscape, as does the smiley). I'm guessing the microwave smiley and the avatar not appearing are related in nature, hence my rambling. So I guess the actual answer is "I don't know" to your original question.

I used it exclusively up until about 2003. Then it just became terrible so I went to IE.

I actually can't get used to any other browser. I don't know why. Firefox is OK, but just not equivelant with Netscape IMO.

I know that feeling. Why I haven't switched to Firefox. Just never got comfortable with it, I guess.

Anyway, how were you putting up the avatar? Off your hard drive or linking from elsewhere? If the latter, try uploading from your hard drive instead. Might work. Shrug
